A
BILL
To

Enhance Crime RP The people of DemocracyCraft, through their elected Representatives in the Congress and the force of law ordained to that congress by the people through the constitution, do hereby enact the following provisions into law:

1 - Short Title and Enactment
(1) This Act may be cited as "AE Wild Crime Act"
(2) This Act shall be enacted immediately upon its signage.
(3) This bill was authored by Representative Aezal
(4) This Act has been co-sponsored by Rep. lawanoesepr

2 - Reasons

3 - Terms
(1) The following crimes hold no punishment when committed in the wilderness:
(a) Murder
(b) Assault
(c) Trespassing on claimed wilderness land
(d) Attempted Murder
(e) Conspiracy to use a Weapon of Mass Destruction
(f) Use of a Weapon of Mass Destruction
(g) Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction
(h) Drugging
(i) Alcohol Trafficking
(j) Illegal Arms Deals
(k) Illegal Weaponry Possession
(l) Possessing Medical Objectives outside of a Government-approved Medical Facility

(2) The Government may not seize wilderness plots nor items stored within the wilderness as punishment for a crime nor via a warrant.

Voted nay for this line especially:
(2) The Government may not seize wilderness plots nor items stored within the wilderness as punishment for a crime nor via a warrant.

DoJ relies a lot on asset seizing for court cases when the fined person does not have enough funds. A lot of items can be kept in the wild, and if this bill passes, it could allow people to just get a wild region, put their items there, just to avoid having it taken. It's already a struggle getting enough for their debts without this clause.

Additionally, this would conflict with the government property return act which allows government items to be taken once found regardless of location.

I also believe that Possessing Medical Objectives outside of a Government-approved Medical Facility should not be exempt from this act because that would defeat the purpose of that law. Especially because if this is legal in the wild- there is no reason for people to go to the hospital anymore as they can get cures in the wild- and not only that, because it is legal, they can just do it whenever. If it is at least illegal it might be able to promote criminal roleplay for a black market with hospital cures if that is not a thing in the actual black market already (where it is legal).
